In case you forget your login data for Selfservice/CampusOffice/RWTHonline, you have the following possiblities to retrieve and reset them:

1) PasswordReset Application

You can use our PasswordReset application to retrieve your data online.
For this method you have to access your contact mailadress! If you are not able to do so, please refer to method 2) to 4).

If you need both username and password please retrieve your username first.

 

 Instructions: Forgot username (e.g. ab123456)

1) Access the site by clicking on "Forgot your login details?" on the Selfservice login screen (https://idm.rwth-aachen.de/selfservice).

   

2) Choose "Forgot username" on the left side and enter your matriculation number, employee number, contact e-mail-adress or RWTH-ID.

  
 

3) After clicking "next" you will have your username send to your contact mailadress.

1) Access the site by clicking on "Forgot your login details?" on the Selfservice login screen (https://idm.rwth-aachen.de/selfservice).

   

2) Choose "Forgot Password" on the left site and enter your username (e.g. ab123456).

   

3) After clicking "next" you will receive the following e-mail:

2) Come to IT-ServiceDesk in person

If you cannot access your contact-e-mail-adress you can come to the IT-ServiceDesk where we can give you your login data.

Please bring your ID with you!

3) Send a third party

If you cannot come to Aachen in person you can also send another person to pick up your login data. To do so please provide them with a letter of authorisation, which clearly states your will and a copy of your identification. The person you send must also have his or her identification ready.

4) Login data over mail

If you cannot come yourself or send another party we can also send you your login data over mail.

Please send us a letter, which clearly states your will, a copy of your ID and a prepaid envelope with your adress, which we use to send you the data, to the following adress:

5) Login data over internal mail

This option is only for RWTH employees!

On personal request (by phone or e-mail) of RWTH employees, the IT-ServiceDesk sends the new password by internal mail to the business address registered in Campus.

With this password you should now log on the Selfservice and change the passwords of the other services.
