Service Description


The teaching inquiry sheet records the accomplished teaching assingment of research assistants of the RWTH Aachen. The inquiry on the teaching offer takes account of data from past semesters and is conducted every semester. A connection to the CAMPUS information system permits the import of course data that can be changed and complemented by lecturers. A manual recording of past courses is not required.

The TIS consequently replaces the paper process that is initiated by the Rolle Dekan (role "Dean"). Employees do not get a printed form but can edit and print the pre-filled teaching inquiry sheet online and send it to the respective dean's office. As yet the faculties 1 and 7 are using the electronic teaching inquiry sheet.

The TIS ensures that the university staff sufficiently perform their teaching assignments. All entries concerning the teaching inquiry sheet can exclusively be accessed by the dean, the academic dean, the manager and, as the case may be, employees of the dean's office that are in charge of data collection. Professors are granted access to all data recorded for their chair. Employees of the respective chair can access the data that was personally recorded for them on completion of the recording.
